📖 Synopsis
Belinda, Marty and Clark Davis's "surprise child," has always had a tender and compassionate heart toward anything hurt or broken. Her brother, Doctor Luke, influences her toward nursing and a job as his assistant. But will she have the inner strength to face hurt and broken people whose bodies, minds, and emotions need mending?
And what will happen when Belinda, Amy Jo, and Melissa all fall for the same nice fellow?
A timeless story of friendship and compassion.

💭 My thoughts
While not my favorite of the series, "Love's Unfolding Dream" is still wholesome and entertaining, and I enjoyed a lot of parts of it. The time skip from the prior book, as well keeping track of so many characters, made it a little difficult to follow along, but I eventually got the hang of it 😅 One thing I didn't love about this book was all the bickering/rivalry between Belinda, Amy Jo and Melissa, especially pertaining to a certain young man, but it wasn't too terrible and thankfully it resolved before the book was over.
This was the book I left off on when I first read this series years ago, so I cannot wait to read the final two books for the very first time!
⚠️ Broad content note
Because Belinda assists her doctor brother on some of his cases, the story includes several medical scenes involving injuries, some blood, a serious burn on a toddler, and an amputation of a boy's crushed arm that causes bitterness and resentment on his part, plus the death of a bird- all up to somewhat descriptive; emotions of jealousy, rivalry, and conflict among the three main girls around the same romantic interest.
Bookishly yours,
